Who are we?
The Lower Grange Farm Climbing Barn is an indoor climbing centre in Maidstone, Kent. It
offers groups bouldering, top rope climbing, lead climbing, and
abseiling. The purpose built climbing centre is just minutes from Junction 6 of the M20.
When the facilities at Lower Grange Farm were being planned we asked young people what they would like to see here and a climbing wall came out on top. Our climbing wall offers year-round adventure and is suitable for absolute beginners as well as those seeking to progress through to the highest level of accredited indoor climbing. What can we offer?
The centre is primarily designed for young people and adults working with young
people to use. We aim to give every young person an appreciation for the
sport of climbing, developing their skills and fitness. We hold regular open sessions for adults and young people to come
and climb as well as private sessions for up to 4 participants. These can cater to individuals specific needs and also be used to record footage for GCSE/A Level climbing.
